Grange Sidings Trial Facilities
The IP Track: Engineering and Innovation team manage and run the Grange Sidings trial site in Stoke on Trent. The site is used to trial and develop new plant and processes that will benefit IP Track Renewals and the wider railway community. Supported by the TSA, the site allows us to run trials in a realistic and safe railway environment:
Highlights from the last 12 months:
- Ballast cleaning 3rd rail
- Bomag Vario RRV compaction roller
- Komatsu 3D intelligent excavator
- Sand Grip formation treatment
- Coupled TRM’s lifting 120ft panel
